The Weekly Style Edit Link Up: Fringe

Oh my gosh you guys, tomorrow is OCTOBER! Can you even believe it? October is by far my favorite month because it is my birthday month, and there are a lot of exciting things happening in the next few weeks. Next week my husband and I are going to be seeing two of our favorite bands - Mumford & Sons and City & Colour. I was actually just checking the weather and the night that we see Mumford it is finally supposed to be pretty chilly here (think mid 60's). Even though it still has been fairly warm here, I find myself gravitating toward anything burgundy and all of my ankle boots in an attempt to make fall happen. Today's outfit is clearly no exception! Megan from The Fashionista Momma and I are sharing our favorite fringe pieces today for The Weekly Style Edit link up, and in planning my outfit I immediately thought of my fringe ankle boots. Sadly, the pair I am wearing are no longer available, but I have linked some other cute options below for you!

Do you have a favorite fringe piece? If so, be sure to add you link below! Next week we will be sharing our looks featuring a bomber jacket.

Zaful Floral Print Tunic & Faux Leather Leggings

Can you believe that this is the last week of September? I feel like I'm always saying something similar at the end of every month, but it's really been shocking to me how quickly this year has flown by. The past few days here have actually begun to feel like fall, with cooler temperatures and the leaves changing color. Although I'm not completely ready to say goodbye to the heat, I am excited to start wearing boots and long sleeves on a more regular basis! I recently shared an outfit featuring this Zaful off the shoulder top, and I have to say I love this floral print tunic just as much. Both are a bit oversized, which is perfect for the fall because they can both be paired with leggings or skinny jeans. I'm also clearly on a floral print kick, especially those in darker hues like burgundy and navy.

What is your favorite print to rock for fall?

The Weekly Style Edit Link Up: Denim

Happy Friday! I hope you had a great week so far, and are ready for the weekend like I am! Today Megan from The Fashionista Momma and I are sharing our favorite denim looks for The Weekly Style Edit link up, so of course I had to take advantage and incorporate double denim in my outfit! I'm sure you all know by now that I could basically live in denim, whether it's a pair of skinny jeansboyfriend shorts for summer, or my favorite black distressed pair. I have actually had this denim jacket since high school (it's from Hollister, haha!), but it's just too good to let go of. It's perfectly broken in and so easy to throw on over pretty much anything. I'm also excited to finally break in my new pair of Sam Edelman boots that I have literally had on my wish list for years. I happened to find them on Amazon for $65, which seemed way too good to be true, but here they are! Be prepared to see them a lot around here.

What is your favorite piece of denim that you own?
Be sure to link up with Megan and I below, and come back to join us next week when we style fringe.

The Weekly Style Edit: Fall Florals

Happy Friday & happy Labor Day weekend! Who else is beyond ready for a long weekend like I am? You may remember from last week's packing post that today I am off to San Diego for a few days for a bachelorette party! I am equally as excited as I am nervous to be leaving Harper for the first time, but I know she's in good hands. After checking the weather before leaving, I realized that it's actually going to be a lot cooler in San Diego than I originally anticipated, so I decided to add this super cute cold shoulder floral top that I'm wearing today to my suitcase because I just can't get enough of it! I haven't shopped at Express in ages, and randomly stopped in on a whim recently. I immediately spotted this top and knew I had to have it! It's a little shorter than I usually prefer, but other than that, it's the perfect end of summer blouse. I have been holding on to it for a few weeks, knowing that the theme for this week's link up was fall florals. Last month, Megan from The Fashionista Momma began our monthly style edit link up, however we quickly decided that we wanted to make it a weekly thing instead, so from here on out we will be posting The Weekly Style Edit every Friday. Be sure to link up your favorite fall florals with us today, and check back each week for a new theme. Next week we will be sharing our favorite ankle boots. I can't wait to see your fabulous fall floral looks!
