Date Night + What Wives Wear Link Up

Today I am excited to be co-hosting the What Wives Wear Link Up with the lovely Carrie and Sherri. Please make sure to link up your favorite look from this week with us at the bottom of this post.

Last weekend my husband and I went on a date night for the first time in awhile and totally realized that we need to enjoy our alone time now more than ever because in a few months it will be pretty much non-existent. It's actually really crazy to think that in 4 (!!!) short months we be parents. I am 24 weeks today and it really amazes me how fast this pregnancy has gone. I have actually been having a lot of fun dressing my growing bump so far, especially now that it's standing out more (check back with me in about 2 more months, I have a feeling my tune will change). Unfortunately my days of wearing my regular shirts are almost gone because they have gotten way too short for me. Seeing the elastic from your maternity pants when you sit down = not a cute look. When I was at Target last week I finally checked out their maternity section and was pleasantly surprised by the selection. The top I am wearing today was on clearance for around $7, and I got it even cheaper thanks to my trusty Cartwheel app. Since this long sleeve tee is so basic, I wanted to dress it up a bit with some layered necklaces and a blazer. Blazers and cardigans are a pregnant girls best friend when it comes to trying to incorporate maternity and non-maternity styles.

Wearing:
Target Blazer (old, similar version at H&M under $25)

Rocksbox + Code For A Free Month!

So glad it's Wednesday! Sadly I have been home sick so far this week (colds definitely feel a lot worse when you're pregnant!), but I'm glad going back to work today that it's already Wednesday. I know that I have talked about Rocksbox before, but today I wanted to give you a look inside of my most recent box.

Rocksbox is a really affordable way to try out (and buy if you love it) designer jewelry for a fraction of the price. There are no obligations and you can cancel at any time. Here's how it works:

1. Take the style survey so your stylist can help determine what type of jewels to include in your box.
2. Each month you'll receive 3 pieces of designer jewelry that has been handpicked for you. You can keep the box as long as you'd like!
3. Swap out your Rocksbox whenever you'd like to try out new pieces. You can also buy any pieces from your existing box at 20% off (!!).

Rocksbox has been so kind to offer all Middle of Somewhere readers a chance to try them out absolutely free! All you have to do is enter the code LINDSAYXOXO1 to get your first box free. You don't have to continue to receive boxes after your free month, but I'll be honest, I would be surprised if you didn't! If you do decide to continue to receive boxes, they will only be $19 per month. You really can't beat that, especially when you will be able to receive jewelry from amazing designers such as GorjanaCC SkyeLoren HopeKendra Scott, and House of Harlow 1960. The code LINDSAYXOXO1 is only valid until Saturday January 31st, so make sure to take advantage before the week is over.

Disclaimer: Rocksbox provided with me with a complimentary 3 month subscription, however all opinions expressed here are my own.

Today I have rounded up some of my favorite budget friendly Valentine's Day inspired items that any girl would love. I am also excited to let you know that next week I am going to be teaming up with some other amazing bloggers, who also happen to be pregnant, to share our Valentine's Day inspired outfits, so stay tuned!

Mom-To-Be Weekend Chic

I seriously debated taking blog pictures with this outfit on when I wore it on a lazy Sunday, and I'm embarrassed to admit that this is "dressed up" for me on the weekend (aka hair is washed and dried and I actually have makeup on). Especially since I have been pregnant I can't get enough of leggings - being pregnant feels like the perfect excuse to wear leggings most of the time. I have been wanting to try this pair from Old Navy and these support leggings from ASOS. Another obsession of mine since I have been pregnant are sneakers, which is really weird because typically the only sneakers I wear are at the gym or going on a walk. This pair that I'm wearing are from 6pm, and are so perfect (and less than $55!). I am also loving these New Balance Classics and Nike Interenationalist which are both around $55 as well. I have also linked some other favorites down below, which you can shop directly. For all you mom's-to-be out there, what are some items you can't get enough of during pregnancy?

Just a friendly reminder to check out Monday's post for your chance to win a $25 e-gift card to Heritwine Maternity. The giveaway ends 01/26 at 12am MST.

Wearing:
Pink Blush Maternity Coat (all sizes are now back in stock and on sale for $42!)
Old Navy Sweater (old, similar here)
Forever 21 Sunglasses (old, would love a pair of mirrored Ray Bans)

Faux Real with Heritwine Maternity + A Giveaway!

Today I want to introduce you all to a fabulous online maternity boutique - Heritwine Maternity. As soon as I tried on this tunic it easily became one of my new favorite tops, and I know that it is one that I will be wearing both during and after pregnancy. I already have plans to change this outfit up a bit and wear it for my sister's bridal shower next month. I don't know about any of you other mom's-to-be, but I have honestly found it to be surprisingly hard to find cute maternity clothes that don't cost a fortune, aside from Old Navy and Pink Blush Maternity. Heritwine offers tops, dresses, and bottoms and everything on their site is well under $50, which cannot be beat! Some of my other favorite pieces from Heritwine Maternity include this rust cowl neck tunicred tie front cardigan, and long sleeve dress. They are also offering FREE shipping (with no minimum!) today with the code MLKDREAM. Also, make sure to check out the bottom of this post for your chance to win a $25 gift card to the shop!

Maternity Must Haves - Second Trimester

Tomorrow I will be 22 weeks pregnant, which is crazy to think that I only have a month left in my second trimester! Before I became pregnant I always thought it was funny how women tracked their progress by weeks instead of months. My best friend told me, "you'll see why when you're pregnant" and man was she right! It is so interesting and bbizarreto see how much can change with both me and the baby in a matter of a week. Not to sound all Giselle (you'll know what I mean if you have seen The Business of Being Born), but I have been very lucky so far with this pregnancy and have so far experienced limited discomfort. Yes, I am that girl. Even though I haven't had any major difficulties, there are still a few things that are helping me stay as comfortable as possible and I thought it would be fun to pass some ideas along to you.

1. Nike Internationalist Sneakers: One of the top things on my Christmas wishlist was a pair of old school Nike sneakers. I love the look of them pretty much with any outfit. I have a super casual outfit post coming up with my new favorite pair!
2. Old Navy Cardigan: Cardigans are part of my daily uniform, especially because I can wear both maternity and non-maternity styles.
3. Ugg Slippers (also love this style): Another necessity for staying cozy around the house
4. Old Navy Maternity Jeans: No zippers and a full panel covering my belly for the next few months... enough said! Plus Old Navy carries short, regular, and tall lengths!
5. Maternity Coat: My parents gifted me this darling Pink Blush Maternity coat for Christmas, and is perfect for the cold temperatures that we have been having since the holidays.
6. Wide-Leg Yoga Pants: I am still able to wear my pre-pregnancy yoga pants, and can't wait to get them on as soon as I get home from work! My favorite pair are on sale for $12 right now too!
7. Jessica Simpson Maternity Nursing Bra: Pretty sure I needed a new bra within the first few weeks of pregnancy, and I love the idea of one that is practical both now and later for nursing.
8. Bump Nest Pregnancy Pillow: AKA the best Christmas gift ever! I don't know how I slept without this pillow, and I know that I will be using it pregnant or not. It is totally worth the price and lives up to the hype!

I would love to hear any of your must have's as well, so please feel free to share! Also, don't forget to check out my previous post for a $20 gift card giveaway to Lace and Pearls. Happy Wednesday!

Caped Crusader with eShakti + Giveaway

When eShakti approached me to work with them, I couldn't have been more excited. I have seen many of my favorite bloggers wearing the cutest dresses and tops and I absolutely love that so many of their items are completely customizable. I also love that eShakti also offers sizes from 0-36W! I searched through their vast inventory and knew I had to have this cape this minute I saw it. The cape trend is still going strong, and to be honest, I never thought I could pull it off, especially while being pregnant! I decided to customize my cape since my measurements are all over the place these days, and I am thrilled with the way it turned out. This cape is so perfect and I know that I can wear it now when I am 21 weeks pregnant, later on in my pregnancy, and also when I am not pregnant! I was really intimated by the cape silhouette initially because I had a hard time picturing how it would be flattering to my body shape, but boy was I wrong. I can now honestly say that I think anyone can wear a cape - whether you are a slender size 2 or a curvy (or pregnant!) size 12+. I am now looking for even more adventurous ways to style this beauty!

I also want to take a minute to talk about Rocksbox again because they are now offering all of you wonderful Middle of Somewhere readers a chance to try them out for FREE for your first month (and only $19/month after!). All you have to do is enter the code lindsayxoxo1 at check out. With Rocksbox you will have a chance to try out gorgeous earrings, bracelets, necklaces, and rings from designers like Kendra ScottGorjana, and Loren Hope. If you are like me and have a hard time investing a lot of money for beautiful jewelry, Rocksbox is totally the way to go!
