What I'm Loving This Weekend Vol. 2

I don't know about you, but for me it feels like October is just flying by! Can you believe next weekend is Halloween? I know I am going to get a ton of side eyes for saying it, but I really am not a fan of Halloween. I love October and the fall, but I could live without anything Halloween related (except for candy, of course). This week was have been getting a bunch of rain and it's actually been pretty chilly here. I have been enjoying dressing for the cooler weather, and this weekend I am pretty much loving all things related to fall fashion including:

1. Blanket scarves - Yeah, I'm still not over this trend even though I'm sure many of you are! I just got another Zara scarf for my birthday and I also have my eyes on this ASOS one and this black & white checked one. When it gets cold here all I want to do is wear a blanket scarf and Uggs to keep warm!

2. Designer sunglasses - Let's face it, we all love a nice pair of sunglasses but can't always afford to shell out $200+ for pair. For me it's also really difficult to spend a lot on sunglasses knowing that shortly after buying them there will be another pair I love and will want to try out. That's where the Ditto Endless Eyewear service comes in. For $24 a month you can try out an unlimited number of sunglasses from designers such as Ray Ban, Karen Walker, and Miu Miu. I am currently borrowing a pair of Elizabeth and James sunglasses, and am waiting on a pair of Karen Walker's to arrive in the mail to swap out. You can try out Endless Eyewear for free for your first month with the code MIDDLEOFSOMEWHERE.

3. Gal Meets Glam for Baublebar - Gal Meets Glam was the first fashion blog that I ever started reading and is still one of my favorite bloggers to follow. This week she announced her partnership with one of my favorite jewelry retailers, Baublebar, which I am so excited for! The collection is so beautiful and timeless, much like Julia's style! My favorite pieces are the Aquanura Collar Necklace and the Bliss Drops Earrings. Also, how amazing are these acrylic monogram coasters? They are definitely on my Christmas wishlist!

4. Ankle boots - I really don't think I could live without ankle boots and booties in the fall. If any of you are like me, you have difficulty finding taller boots to accommodate your thick legs, and it's always so tricky trying to find wide calf boots that fit just right. I honestly avoid the issue and stick with ankle boots, which are more comfortable and flattering in my opinion. My all time favorite pair are the Sam Edelman Petty boots and I am finally planning on spending the money to get a pair soon! I love the 'Putty' suede, and even though they're not super practical, how cute are this leopard pair? Some other great options under $100 include this black Simply Vera Vera Wang pair and these cognac Steve Madden's.
